ParquetFileReader

Methods

close()  : void
Closes the stream it was opened on; any later call throws RuntimeException('Reader is not open').
footer()  : Footer
The file's footer, read on the first call; it stays readable after close().
readColumns()  : Iterator<int, array<string, array<int, mixed>>|SkippedMatches>
readStoredColumns()  : Iterator<int, array<string, array<int, mixed>>|SkippedMatches>
readColumns() with every DATE, TIMESTAMP, TIME and UUID value, at any depth, as it is stored: days since 1970-01-01, microseconds since the epoch, microseconds since midnight, 16 bytes; other values as readColumns() reads them.

Methods

close()

Closes the stream it was opened on; any later call throws RuntimeException('Reader is not open').

public close() : void

readColumns()

public readColumns(array<int, string> $columns, int $batchSize, ReadPlan $plan) : Iterator<int, array<string, array<int, mixed>>|SkippedMatches>
Parameters
$columns : array<int, string>

resolved names, never empty

$batchSize : int

upper bound of rows per chunk, refused below 1

$plan : ReadPlan
Return values
Iterator<int, array<string, array<int, mixed>>|SkippedMatches> —

chunks keyed by column, every list the same length (>0): the rows $plan selects that match $plan->rowFilter, past $plan->offset, at most $plan->limit; a plan with an offset yields one SkippedMatches before the first chunk, or alone

readStoredColumns()

readColumns() with every DATE, TIMESTAMP, TIME and UUID value, at any depth, as it is stored: days since 1970-01-01, microseconds since the epoch, microseconds since midnight, 16 bytes; other values as readColumns() reads them.

public readStoredColumns(array<int, string> $columns, int $batchSize, ReadPlan $plan) : Iterator<int, array<string, array<int, mixed>>|SkippedMatches>
Parameters
